Bucks for Bursaries

We are sorry that Women in Focus will no longer be operating the Bucks for Bursary program for the Fall of 2006. Thank you to all who have contributed throughout the many years to help our youth with their schooling costs. We hope as the Women in Focus Endowment Fund grows, that we will be able to offer more sustainable support to the further education of our young people in the future.

Women in Focus Endowment Fund

Women in Focus has a passion to see:

1. The Development of potential women leaders through

a. Ongoing training initiatives

b. Identification and nurturing of spiritual gifts

c. Mentorship programs

2. Ongoing funding for

a. Young adult bursaries for ministry

b. Scholarships for women pursuing ministry training

c. Grants for young or single moms to attend retreats

3. Resources provided for you church ministries that:

a. Meet the needs of women in local communities

b. Facilitate caring ministries

c. Embrace the hurting and lost.

We would love to be able to build a fund that could support ongoing ministries to women through the Baptist Union. Would you consider leaving a gift that would keeping on giving to the needs of women and ensure that the mission of Women in Focus will continue?

You can contribute through

An outright gift or donation
A gift in your will.
A memorial gift or other gift to the fund
A life insurance policy – where Women in Focus is named as the beneficiary
A trust arrangement with the Baptist Union Development Fund that can provide income for life with the principle remaining with Women in Focus
